They are now looking for a Software Developer/Automation Engineer to join their Quality Assurance & Support Services team in Nicosia, Cyprus
Key Responsibilities
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback to Customers and DevOps
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Create and maintain manuals and documentation
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Develop and apply testing processed for new and existing products to meet client needs
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
- Assist developers with general issue resolutions with respect to existing, new or enhanced applications
- Monitor debugging process results and track QA metrics
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
Candidate Profile
- BSc/MSc in computer science, engineering, any other relevant degree
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar position
- Proven experience developing web applications using C#, ASP.NET, MVC and HTML5
- Proficient knowledge of MS SQL Server
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools processes
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Experience working in an Agile (Kanban, Scrum) development process in Jira
- Experience in Katalon and/or Selenium Webdriver automation tool
- Experience in the financial industry and PCI requirements highly desirable
- Ability to think critically, solve problems creatively and effectively
- Excellent oral and verbal skills in English and Greek
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated self-starter with a desire to learn
